I'm sure Brandon is tired of assembling things...

He's had to put together so many things in the past week. Jaylee's crib and dresser, a bookshelf, our new entertainment center.... We've been in the new apartment for a month now, but it took us a while to find all the furniture that we wanted and get it shipped. And everything has arrived pretty much within a week. So that's fun. It actually is, though! It's so nice to finally get everything settled and to feel like this is home. It's been a really busy few weeks, but we are pretty much done! I'll be putting up pictures in the next few days once we get Jaylee's room finished.

My lovely monthly visitor showed up yesterday.... So that's been fun. Such a beautiful coincidence that I got my Food Network magazine yesterday and this issue has a special "10 Minute Desserts" section! Less than 15 minutes after getting home from church, we tried a chocolate cake in there and good glory. It was divine. It was reminiscent of a molten chocolate cake I've had at restaurants. So good. I didn't get to take a picture of it because it was devoured so quickly by some piglet, so I'll have to make it again. Watch for that recipe on the cooking blog soon! (probably tonight.....)
