I have THE hardest time coming up with titles for my posts!! WTC?! (What-the-crap. Not World Trade Center....Just FYI). I wish I could disable that feature. I know I can just not use it, but that empty box annoys me! Blargh.
Anyways! I'm sure all two of you that read this already saw my post on FB, but I'll write it here, too. Baby #2 is a little girl!! I'm soooo excited!!! :) Jaylee needs a sister. Don't get me wrong, I would've been just as happy with a boy and a boy will be so fun when he comes. But a girl right now is perfect for us. Even if you just look at the financial aspects. We'll have to buy a LOT less stuff now that we can reuse. Although we still will need to buy a lot. We borrowed a TON of stuff from Brandon's awesome cousins when Jaylee was little. Bumbo, boppy, carrier, bouncer, jumper, TONS of clothes, etc. The list goes on. So there's still a lot that we'll have to get for this baby, but at least it's minimized some.
On another fun note, my sisters and Mom are gonna throw me a baby shower! Yay!! I'm super excited cause they didn't get to be at the one for Jaylee (it was in Utah). So that will be really fun! And also cause we seriously need some stuff for buba #2. Thanks for the idea, Miri!! :)
We finally, finally got some rain this week! We've been in the worst drought Texas has seen for yeeaaarrrs and it has really sucked! Everything is totally brown and dead and ugly. And we have NO water. The lakes and rivers are sooo low. And the wildfires! Geez. This summer has been a horrible one. Anyway, there's a thunderstorm outside and it sounds fabulous! Let's hope it drops 15 inches on us!
I'm so excited for fall, I can hardly stand it. I want it to be cool already! I want to make yummy pumpkin dishes and to wear sweaters and drink hot chocolate! Mmmm fall is so yummy. It makes me feel so good thinking about it! I can't wait! I already brought up the discussion of Thanksgiving dish assignments at Mom's yesterday. I'm making pies and rolls this year. YUMMMMM. CAN'T WAIT!!!! Fall is almost here. I can feel it.
Ps. Goose talks in her sleep. Brandon heard her in the middle of the night last night say "No! No! *something inaudible* Uh oh!" Hehe I wonder what she was dreaming about!

Yay for Baby #2!!! I'm so excited for you guys! I love that you're in Texas (even if it is several hours away) because I know exactly what you're talking about with the drought. And we just finished a HUUUGE thunder storm here! It was AMAZING! Went by way too quick but I sure did love running around outside and getting SOAKED! and I too am SO ready for FALL! Mosty just the good warm fuzzy feelings that come starting about this time of year. I love it! And I guess since it doesn't get Rexburg cold, at all, I'll let the cooler weather roll in :)
Oh man, that thunderstorm last night was AMAZING. The lightning went on for hours! That's one thing you can say for Evil Summer 2011--I think we appreciate fall even more than we usually would. :) I took like twenty pictures of the sky yesterday, when all the rain clouds started rolling in. Which meant that my memory card was full a few hours later when Benjamin came bursting in to ask if he could borrow my camera to film the lightning outside... So that was a shame, because the lightning was crazy intense. But the moral of the story is, YAY for rain and fall!
1) I, too, loved the storm! I literally lit a candle 30 seconds before our power went out for the rest of the night. Thank goodness, too, bc Brian is away on business and I'm afraid of the dark! At least when I'm not the one who turns out the lights.
2) You're not going to believe this, but i definitely had a dream about Jaylee last night. I could not make this up. I don't remember what we were doing, but the baby was surely Jaylee, and i called her such in said dream. Weird. Don't be freaked out though, I have dreampt about many a random person in my time.
3) I've been dying for fall due to the sole purpose of making caramel apples!
I am so out of the loop! I am so happy for you! Baby numero 2 is a girl. Well, you guys are good at making pretty girls, so she is gonna be gorgeous! I am so so so so so happy for you!!!!
